Common questions
Where should I start?
Open Öwren for 10 beginner lessons. Use Kitaphana to choose a story at your reading level, or Sözlük to look up a word and hear its pronunciation. The lessons are a starter course; the reading library has material across A1–C1.
Can I use Zehin without the internet?
Lessons, story text, the dictionary and word pronunciations work offline. Download story narration while connected to the internet, then replay it from the device cache. The operating system may clear cached audio when storage is low.
Why does a story need to download its audio again?
Narration is stored in a purgeable cache. Check your connection and available storage, then download it again. The story text remains available offline.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Zehin does not currently offer accounts or cross-device sync. Progress and saved words are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can remove them. Your operating system may provide a separate device-backup feature.
What comes after the 10 beginner lessons?
Choose an A1 story and practise the words you have saved. The app offers shortcuts to reading and vocabulary review after the starter lessons.
